On August 27th, Corin proudly organised a beach clean that saw staff members, friends, family, and key representatives from Leigh Ramblers Football Club (Corin is a platinum sponsor) come together to give back to our beautiful seaside community. The event, held on a sunny day at Chalkwell beach, exemplified Corin's commitment to our core values: honesty, ambition, and delivery.
With sleeves rolled up and bin bags in hand, the group, including players Jacob Meads and Ethan Nunn, Club Secretary Richard Ackery, Treasurer Gareth Ackery, and 1st Team Manager Terry Johnson, joined forces with Chalkwell Councillor and Deputy Mayor Nigel Folkard. Together, they tackled litter on the beach and surrounding promenade, ensuring the area remained pristine for both locals and visitors alike.
The event wasn't just about hard work; it was a day filled with great community spirit. Local residents enjoying the sunshine expressed their thanks, while those who participated were treated to Corin ice creams, cold drinks, games, and music-a small token of appreciation for their efforts.
This beach clean wasn't just an act of community service; it was a reflection of Corin's ongoing dedication to making a positive impact where we live and work. At Corin, we believe that honesty builds trust, ambition drives action, and delivery makes a difference. Events like these are just one way we live our values, showing that we're not just about business - we're about community too.
We're grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this beach clean a resounding success. Here's to many more community initiatives that bring us together and make our seaside home even better.
